In an episode of ‘Mind the Game with LeBron James and JJ Redick,’ the Los Angeles Lakers star shared a moment, which he says happens to be a fluke.
JJ Redick hilariously got LeBron James to admit that he searches for his highlights on YouTube.
“Yeah, I have,” LeBron responded as the duo laughed. “Of course I did. I said from time to time they come through. The number one reason you do it is when you suffer a little depression or whatever.”
Amid the laughter, LeBron tried again to say he doesn’t make a habit of doing that. Redick then asked him if he had never actually gone to YouTube to watch his highlights, after which LeBron finally accepted the truth.
LeBron James continues to play at an incredibly high level, despite being almost 40 years old. He is the oldest active player in the NBA.
Despite maintaining a high level of play, ‘King James’ humbly acknowledges reality in a post-match interview. He reveals his self-awareness, admitting that he is in the twilight of his NBA career and that retirement is looming.
